Twisted Tower Characters

Twisted Tower keeps its cast small on paper — a dorky hero, the girl he loves, a showman villain, a bully, and a strange kid who keeps popping up. But between the official story FAQ and what players found in the released game, every one of them has more going on than the setup admits. Spoiler-light by default; the ending entries carry warnings.

Tiny — the Hero Climbing the Tower

The protagonist. Per the developers' own story FAQ, Tiny is an 18-year-old dork madly in love with his childhood sweetheart Charlotte. Heart-broken by her engagement to the school bully Preston, he dreams of climbing to the top of the world-famous game show and proposing to her on live television. A Velvet Ticket found in a toy package gives him his shot at $10,000,000, fame, and Charlotte's hand in marriage.

A note on the name: pre-release official material calls him Tiny; in post-launch discussions players consistently refer to the protagonist as Vincent. Both names refer to the same character — this guide labels quotes accordingly.

Charlotte — the Childhood Sweetheart

Charlotte shares Tiny's passion for The Twisted Tower show, but she's engaged to Preston when the story begins. She is the prize the tower advertises — and, as players discovered, far from a passive damsel by the time the credits roll. Her final-scene behavior is the single most discussed mystery in the game.

Mr. Twister — the Billionaire Toy Maker

The host of the Twisted Tower game show and its resident villain presence. Official material introduces him simply as the billionaire toy maker behind the world-famous show. What the show actually is — and what he actually is to certain characters — is where the game's biggest twist lives.

⚠️ His connection to Charlotte is dissected (via player discussion) on our ending explained page.

Preston — the School Bully

Charlotte's fiancé and Tiny's rival, per the official FAQ. He's the reason Tiny is heart-broken at the start — and, notably, a character the tower itself seems built to overshadow.

Piper — the Kid Who Shouldn't Be There

A recurring child figure whom players report taunting you throughout the climb — moving anywhere, unfazed by anything. Whether Piper is a victim, an employee, or part of the tower's act is one of the details fans lean on hardest when arguing about what the tower really is. One popular reading: Piper is in on it the whole time.

The Mascot Enemies

The floors are patrolled by corrupted fairy-tale mascots — the "horrifying enemies" the official FAQ promises every deadly floor. Our bosses page tracks what's officially confirmed about them, and our weapons guide covers the toy arsenal you take them down with.

Who Made Twisted Tower?

Twisted Tower comes from Thomas Brush and his studio Atmos Games. Brush's previous Steam title, Pinstripe (April 2017, published by Armor Games Studios), established the team's signature dark-fairy-tale style. The developer FAQ credits the core team as Thomas Brush with lead artist Felipe Caravelli, programmer Ajay Venkat, musician Krys Polezoes, and sound designer Hector Rodriguez.
